Today I went to one of the newer cafés in Malmö, Café Walonia which is located at Värnhem.
I've intended to go to this place before, but it was always closed. However, they seem to have gotten everything in order by now and it is a very nice café. The interior is charming, with deep purple walls and comfy wooden chairs. Also the flowers on every table from the flower shop next door does a lot for the atmosphere. The staff seemed very nice, the people in the café (not very many, since it was a Thursday around noon) varied from older women to some hipster guys. However, it is very pricey - 32 sek (3,20 €) for a cafe latte which was not very tasty and had a lot of caffeine. On the other hand, the taste might have been because I had it with oat milk (they didn't have soy milk, booo [recommendation for everyone, gives a certain sweetness]) and the pastry assortment looked good, they want everything to be home made which is a great initiative. Go to this place if you are alone or 2-3 people who feel like giving yourself a treat!
